Police arrest three after Campus Square shootout

AUCKLAND PARK – Suspects are arrested with two stolen vehicles.

Police have arrested three suspects after a shootout at Campus Square, Auckland Park, on 19 September.

Brixton Police station Commander Colonel Michele Jones was not immediately available for comment, but a tweet from SA Police Service confirmed that three suspects were arrested with two stolen vehicles, by the police’s flying squad.

The tweet also stated that one suspect was wounded during a shootout.

Included in the tweet was a photo of two men handcuffed and lying on the ground, and another photo of a silver vehicle.
