Police go beyond the call of duty

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Vivien Flemming thanks the police for their hard work and dedication.

Vivien Flemming from Weltevreden Park thanks the Fairland and Honeydew SAPS for coming to her rescue after she went through a traumatic experience.

“It was after the police took me to Honeydew Police Station that I saw what the police have to endure on a daily basis to protect us, while we sleep,” said Flemming. She added that the police treated her with the utmost professionalism and efficiency even patiently waiting for her while she went through trauma counselling.

She said that the public don’t often thank the police enough for their bravery at having to face obstacles every day. She thanked Captain Charlie Whitehead from Fairland Police Station as well as Warrant Officer Vuli Buthelezi and Lieutenant Pitso Ngwenya for their understanding, patience and care that she said helped her through her ordeal.

“I was treated very well by the police who showed me care and compassion, they were so kind to me,” she said.
