Temon Fontein is missing

Brixton boy went missing

Temon Fontein (11) from Brixton went missing on 1 August and his family is looking for him.

His stepmother Yoleen Wildp said her son left home in the afternoon to game shops just a block away from their home, but he never came back.

“All along I thought he might be with friends because he knows so many children around, but at about 8pm I started panicking, suspecting that something might be wrong. We then reported to the police,” said Wildp.

She said they searched everywhere up to Crosby where people said he was last seen around there but nothing positive came out of the search.

“I didn’t give him the money for games but he might have found it somewhere from friends.’

“The most painful part is we don’t know his mother’s relatives because she left a long time ago when he was still a toddler with his father, but still I don’t think he is there because we don’t have contact with them. We are hoping that since his flyers are out there, he will be found. I don’t even want to think about my little boy I raised being out there in the cold without food, but I know he’s alive,” said Wildp.

Missing Children SA, the supplier of the picture confirmed they are still looking for the boy, and calls on the community to assist.
