BREAKING: Shop owner injured at Campus Square shooting

AUCKLAND PARK – Robbery leads to shooting at Campus Square.

The owner of a shop at Campus Square, Auckland Park, was grazed by a bullet during an armed robbery on 5 August. An eyewitness speaking on condition of anonymity explained that the incident occurred around 12.45pm near the Woolworths entrance. He added that the owner was “grazed” by the bullet and will be fine. The robbers escaped.

Just four days previously, it was believed that an armed robbery occurred at the centre, but centre management and Brixton Police Station Commander Colonel Mitchelle Jones confirmed there was no robbery.
