Different organisations enjoy 67 minutes of exercise

LINDEN – Pupils integrated with all the stakeholders, highlighting their happiness and enjoyment.

LINDEN – Doppio Zero , pupils from Greenside High School, Delta Park School, Linden Police, Pick n Pay Cresta, Dischem and Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA)  spent their 67 minutes giving back to the community at the Casa Do Sol Special Needs School.

They participated in various indoors sports activities with the pupils from the school on 24 July.

The school principal Elmarie Lahoud said she was grateful that various organisations chose the school to do their charity.

“They partnered with our children on the sports day and they are enjoying the lovely weather,” Lahoud explained.

Pupils integrated with all the stakeholders, highlighting the happiness and enjoyment of being accommodated by residents from all works of life.

Doppio Zero marketing coordinator Tarryn Leigh Nash indicated that the community initiative was aiming at making a special needs child’s fun day a realty.

Sibongile Linsi from CoGTA said she learned a lot from the children with special needs.

“The manner of teaching here is not traditional, but innovative and helping these pupils,” Linsi said.
