GALLERY: Holiday club draws a crowd

NORTHCLIFF – Primary school children take a break from school to have fun.

The Holiday Club hosted by Northcliff Union Church hit record numbers between 6 and 10 July, during this school holiday. A whopping 395 primary school children attended, with a further 67 high school children acting in team leader roles. The sounds of raucous fun could be heard above the traffic of Pendoring Road, as the children enjoyed the break from school, and the opportunity for fun.

“We are delighted to host these kids from our community,” said the church’s youth pastor, Glen Thompson. “We are also so proud of the teens and college students who facilitated all the action, and for whom this was a great opportunity for leadership development. It was a privilege for us to serve our local community in this way.”
