Delta has a roaring outing

DELTA PARK – Grade R pupils learn about creatures from the ice age.

Grade R pupils at Delta Park School had a roar of a time when they recently visited the Ice Age exhibition at the Sandton Convention Centre. “The Ice Age exhibition was a great experience for the Grade R learners, as it allowed them to see the actual size of these ginormous creatures from long ago, which they otherwise would only ever have seen in the pages of a book,” said teacher Gillian Townley.

She added that the information provided by the tour guide was age-appropriate. Teacher Jackie van der Hoven added, “The Ice Age exhibition was a great experience and everyone had a lot of fun.”
