The pupils at Wishing Wells Nursery School, Blackheath, recently had a fun day making their very own calzone pizzas. “The children made pizzas as part of our My Senses theme,” said the school’s principal Sandy Brodie. She explained that the sense of touch was evident in the pliable dough, the sense of sight was evident in the pizza’s visible appearance, the sense of smell was evident in the aroma while the pizza was cooking in a portable pizza oven, and the sense of taste was evident in their tastiness.
