I love my home and I love my suburb.
I believe home is where the heart is, and being happy is the most important thing.
My home in Sundowner, Randburg is my sanctuary – a place where I can escape and forget about all my troubles. It is a place where I don’t need to dress up, be professional or wear fancy clothes. I can just be my goofy self and no-one will judge me.
I also love the area – it’s close to work and has everything I need in a 5km radius.
My neighbours are very friendly and we all try to help one another. It is nice to have people around you that really care.
We have lots of trees in my street and every morning I wake up to the beautiful sound of birds singing. This always puts me in a good mood and gets me ready to face the Joburg traffic.
There is certainly a lot to be grateful for.
