Organise all your Tweets in one place

In this last part on using Twitter we take a look at using TweetDeck, and my final word of thanks to Hill and Knowlton strategies for all its help in compiling this past 5-part series on Twitter.

TweetDeck is an application that organises all of your tweets and interactions in one place. You can be signed into multiple accounts at once, or simply use your main account.

TweetDeck is a great way to filter fast-moving tweets to keep up with the topics and accounts that matter most to you. It gives you flexibility by letting you view multiple timelines in one easy interface and includes a host of features that help advanced users get the most out of Twitter, such as manage multiple Twitter accounts, schedule tweets for posting in the future, build tweet collections and more.

Another handy feature is filters, this is a way to refine your search to help you best find what you are looking for. Your columns can be limited to a specific hashtag, keyword searches, accounts, lists and more. And you can further focus those columns to only feature tweets with images, video, any media or links.

How does it work?

Go to https://tweetdeck.twitter.com and sign in with your personal Twitter account. From there, click the search button to start creating columns and adding filters. Once a column is made, you can go back and change the filters by clicking the button on the top right of the column. You can also re-order columns and move them left and right with the arrow buttons in that same filter tab.
