Mrs South Africa semi-finalist

RANDBURG – Local beauty Bianca Parsons is in the running of becoming Mrs South Africa.

The top 100 semi-finalists for the Mrs South Africa Pageant were recently announced, and local beauty queen Bianca Parsons is in the running of becoming Mrs South Africa.

• Who is Bianca Parsons?

Bianca Parsons is a young, successful married woman with a passion for life, success and a love for all beautiful things. I strive to make every day count. I am a successful woman in a corporate environment. I am in the most magnificent marriage with the most supportive husband. I am a young woman who married her best friend.

• Why did you decide to enter the Mrs South Africa competition?

It has always been a dream to be Mrs South Africa and to represent our beautiful country, to be an ambassador for married, beautiful and sophisticated woman. I want to make a local difference and a global impact.

• What does it mean for you to become Mrs South Africa?

It will mean that I have made my biggest dream come true, that I will have the platform to achieve so much more and that I will be able to be the voice to help and empower others.

• What can the country expect from you?

South Africa can expect to see a woman with passion for success and people around her. I will empower women to work hard and fight to make their dreams a reality. I know that this is possible, especially with an amazing organisation that will back me all the way such as the Mrs SA Organisation. By seeing firsthand what these inspiring business women have achieved in just a few years, I am inspired to make a difference. I will also not only focus on woman empowerment but also on the community and other causes in need. Where I possibly can make a difference, I will.

• What are the three fun facts about you?

Absolutely love to gym, about four years ago I weighed 30kg heavier and by setting a goal for myself, working hard and having fun along the way I lost it all. My husband is my personal trainer and my gym partner.

I love graphic design, I am very creative and can spend hours in front of my computer losing myself in my designs.

I am without a doubt a hopeless romantic, I cry when I’m happy and I cry when I’m sad. It can drive my husband insane but he loves me for it.

• Where you born a beauty queen?

Yes, without a doubt. My mother often says I was born in heels and lip gloss. I love to look my best and always try to show others the potential that they might not see in themselves. When I look good I feel fabulous and very confident.

• What is your beauty secret?

To be happy, having a good laugh at least once a day and eliminating all possible drama from my life. That and some eye cream at night. Also by staying healthy and fit.

• What inspires you?

Success is what inspires me. I always set goals that at first might seem out of my reach, I then work as hard as I possibly can to reach them. No mountain is too high to climb. And once I’m at the top of that mountain, I find another to climb. I have admiration for people who succeed in whatever success means to them. If your success is to be a CEO and you work hard to achieve that success I admire your hard work. If your success is being the best mother and looking after your children and running the household and you succeed in that, then I admire your hard work.

• Heels or flats?

Heels, heels, and heels! If I could sleep in them I would. A girl can never have enough beautiful heels.

• Why should the country vote for you?

South Africa should vote for me because I have a passion to win. I have a passion to be the absolute best version of myself that I can be for my country. I will strive to make so many dreams come true. I have a passion for the Cansa organisation and will raise as much awareness as I possibly can. Cansa is so close to my heart as I have been touched with the heartache of losing someone dear to this dreaded illness. In the few months leading up to Mrs South Africa and as my year of reign I will strive to make a global difference.
