Countdown to Miss SA

JOBURG – Catch all the action and excitement live from the Sun City Superbowl as 12 of the country’s most talented and beautiful women battle to be crowned Miss South Africa 2015.

The dazzling Miss South Africa Pageant will be held at Sun City on 29 March as 12 South African beauties battle for the number one spot.

Hosted by Proverb, performers at the glittering show include Gangs of Ballet, Beatenberg and Sterling EQ with appearances by current Miss World Rolene Strauss, former Miss World Anneline Kriel and a host of former Miss SA’s and other celebrities.

The 2015 edition of the Miss South Africa pageant is produced by [sic] entertainment (Gavin Wratten and Tebogo ‘Proverb’ Thekisho), the producers of South African Idols, who will bring their vast experience in creating large scale high-end TV spectaculars, to the live pageant.

“The look and feel of the show ensures a modern, highly polished production with each scene having a different look and feel. This will allow the audience to get to know the contestants, and judge for themselves which of the 12 finalists would make the best ambassador for the country. Insider information and commentary from celebrities and industry icons will add further flavour to the audience experience,” said Gavin Wratten.

The show will also tap into the rich history of the pageant with former Miss SAs mentoring the class of 2015, which will then culminate in something never before seen on a Miss SA pageant.

Surprise appearances from some of the Cell C Sharks rugby players as well current Miss World Rolene Strauss will add to the entertainment.

The Top 12 Miss SA finalists who come from around the country are Busi Mahlangu (Mpumalanga), Chanelle Sardinha (Gauteng), Danelle de Wet (Western Cape), Gugulethu Banda (Gauteng), Kim Wentzel (Gauteng), Liesl Laurie (Gauteng), Nicole Lamberts (Western Cape), Ntsiki Mkhize (Gauteng), Refilwe Mthimunye (Gauteng), Shanè Naidoo (Gauteng), Sihle Makhanya (KZN) and Taryn Morris (Western Cape).
