JOBURG – Celebrate International Women's Day and join the fight against women and children abuse on 8 March.

International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8 March and this year focuses on gender equality.

Join women at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre in Fourways as One Organisation with the support of Action 2015, launches a new campaign in support of the 2015 African Union Year of Women Empowerment from 3pm–6pm.

The main focus at the event will be on poverty.

Meanwhile, FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International has also stated taking a stand to raise awareness and make a tangible difference against women and children abuse.

Varsity Cup is supporting the Aggro on the Field Campaign, in order to not only raise awareness of women and child abuse, but also assist women shelters where they most need it, physically and financially.
