The State of the Nation Address delivered more drama and chaos than was expected.

When President Jacob Zuma took a stand to deliver his State of the Nation Address, Economic Freedom Fighters [EFF] interrupted him.

The members of the EFF demanded that the President explain when he will pay the money back that he used for his Nkandla’s house upgrade.

Drama and shouting erupted.

Here are some hilarious and most bizarre comments that dropped the country’s jaws.

• “We would like to know when is the president going to pay back the money as set out by the public protector” – EFF’s Godrich Gardee interrupting the President’s speech.
• “Will money be paid by EFT, cash or E-wallet?” – Godrich Gardee.
• “Honourable Malema, you are not saying anything new. I have repeatedly asked members to proceed with business of the day.”– National Speaker Beleka Mbete
• “You are making a mistake because you are reading my mind.” – Julius Malema to Baleka Mbete.
• “You are not doing me a favour or anyone a favour. You suspend the rules when the President speaks. – Julius Malema, telling Mbete she is being emotional.
• “The members sent in here to remove EFF MPs, are they police? Can’t allow police to enter this chamber.” – Democratic Alliance’s Parliamentary Leader Mmusi Maimane after EFF members were removed from the chamber
• “There is no way I could sit here and be able to pick who is a police and who is not police.” – Thandi Modise, chairperson of the National Council of Provinces on why the police were allowed into the chamber.
