Matrics achieve impressive results at Hoërskool Linden.

LINDEN – Hoërskool Linden maintains its 100 per cent matric pass rate streak.

Excited matrics packed the lobby of Hoërskool Linden to receive their matric results on 6 January. Hoërskool Linden has maintained their 100 per cent pass rate – 20 three years in row.

The top seven matric pupils at Hoërskool Linden are Nikolas du preez (nine distinctions), Cormari Nel, Jannes Smit, Renée Rabie (eight distinctions), Jacques du Plessis, Janet Mayburgh, and Anika Prinsloo (seven distinctions).

Pupils Simone Venter and Jason Carlse were very happy with their matric results. Both plan on studying at the University of Potchefstroom. Venter wants to pursue her studies in Mathematics while Carlse wants to venture into Business Management.

Pupil Marguerite Nel said, “One studies hard and hopes for the best. Luckily, it payed off quite wonderfully”. Nel plans to study economics at the University of Pretoria.

Principal at Hoërskool Linden Dr Jorrie Joradaan expressed his pride in the pupils’ sterling performance.

“We at Hoërskool Linden are very proud of our pupils and their well-earned matric results,” said Jordaan.
