I would like to thank you for the article in the Northcliff Melville Times. I am working in Sandton and often see this man with his trailer at Firstrand’s offices. I am so surprised to see that FNB allows the man to park in front of their offices with this banner. Maybe there is truth in his allegations?

One of my friends also lost his house this way and we realised that so many people are probably going through the same kind of ordeal.

Maybe it is time that the public is made aware of these unlawful ways by the banks. Why is FNB not defending the issue?

Perhaps you could do a follow-up article and warn potential homeowners.

It seems to me that banks do what they like and if a client may default with his bond payments, they will easily sell the property on auction without honouring any agreements made by the client.
