Ward 99 councillor Bruce Herbert’s Christmas wish

WARD 99 –This year has been filled will much success in Ward 99.

Despite it being a very busy and stressful year, a lot has been achieved, including the completion of the overhead lines (all replaced), all the street lights replaced, light poles and traffic lights painted and all the curbs repainted.

The Big Brother house in Linden has brought in huge business and has helped the local restaurants and shops gain new business.

I would like to thank the senior management of the City of Joburg for their support and cooperation this year in Ward 99. My Ward committee has been outstanding, so thank you for all your contributions and supporting me.

My wish this Christmas is for all the traffic lights and street lights to keep working, for all the potholes to be filled and for all the drains to be unblocked.

For any municipal-related issues residents must please contact the relevant City Council departments and get a reference number. If your problem is not resolved within a week, please send the complaint with your reference number to your councillor.

I wish all the Ward 99 residents a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
