Teeny-weeny ballet tots impress all

FAIRLAND – The little ballerina’s of Happy Chappies nursery school entertain parents with their ballet skills.

Every little girl wants to be a ballerina.

On 26 November the little ballerinas of the Happy Chappies nursery school held a heartwarming recital for family and friends.

With the schools getting ready to close for the year, there are many reasons for family and friends to celebrate.

The girls in the nursery school ranging from four to five years in age, usually participate in an extra mural activity at 10am every Wednesday. They have the privilege to learn and enjoy basic ballet skills.

Teacher Lindsey Ollewagen leads the class, teaching the tiny ballerinas the basics, while including fun and creative dance moves.

The mini ballet concert delighted family and friends who attended.

The girls all got medals at the end of the recital to encourage further learning and participation.
