A showcase of confidence

BLAIRGOWRIE – Voice2Act allows the inner you to shine.

Voice2Act offers a platform where you can learn to act and in so doing find your own voice.

“Through playing different characters, actors find themselves and their own confidence,” said Voice2Act founder Penny Bramwell-Jones.

This was evident at the Voice2Act Annual Showcase on 22 November, as each actor exuded confidence on stage in front of 50 special guests.

Performances by Kerusha Puckree, Krisna Ramlall, Jana Terblanche, Rory Stradling and Kitu Makgofa had the audience in stitches. Each performer showed off what they had learned and owned the stage, giving it their best.

Guest adjudicators Jacques Bessenger and Clara Taub had the difficult task of choosing the best performer of the evening. Best overall performance went to Krisna Ramlall while Kitu Makgofa won best runner-up. Rory Stradling received a special mention as most promising actor.

Bramwell-Jones added, “Voice2Act offers a safe platform to step out of your comfort zone and experience the freedom that comes from being confident. Well done to the cast on an outstanding performance.”

Voice2Act 2015 applications are now open.
