Woman Crush Wednesday: Samantha Jansen

LINDEN– This former vixen recently appeared in one of Africa’s biggest shows and has earned the Woman Crush Wednesday spot.

She is flawless, shimmering, uncut and if the 2009 Season of Vixens is to go by, fashionable.

Samantha Jansen is a South African entrepreneur best known as one of the six vixens on the Vuzu reality television series Vixens, in 2009.

In this show, six men in a relationship each spend six days in a mansion populated by six single women, with the objective of remaining faithful to their partners while being tempted by the vixens.

The former vixen admitted that she sometimes has a temper – especially when she has warned a person.

“I talk to a person two or three times until you push me and then I will flip on you. I would literally lose my mind. There are times were I had fights with my sister and I would shout for two, three hours stressing, saying how I feel.”

The 29-year-old is from Potchefstroom and was recently evicted from one of Africa’s largest shows, Big Brother Hotshots.

Although she has this side of her, Samantha had to learn to keep her emotions and overall character in check after Biggie handed her a strike.

“This had an impact on my game because I became very paranoid and I had to watch what I say. I had to be very conscious of everything I do.”

The South African beauty was enrolled for a law degree at Potchefstroom University but left this in pursuit of the Big Brother gig.

“I have my music and songwriting that seems to be going somewhere so I want to focus on that but I would love to also complete my law degree.”

Samantha intends to break into the international music scene.

“I want to also work with as many South African artists as I can and those in the rest of Africa so I can improve myself and get my name out there,” she said. Davido, AKA, D’Banj, P Square, DA LES are on the list of artist she wishes to collaborate with.

Although she was constantly described as one the most beautiful girl in the Big Brother house, Samantha humbly said she thought Ellah was the most beautiful. “When my sister told me I was shocked because I didn’t know that is how I was being perceived out there,” she humbly said.
