Ripples of joy ahead of the festive season.

STERKFONTEIN — Local reading club will celebrate the festive season withe the gift of giving to the Blair Atholl primary farm school

The foundation phase at Blair Atholl Primary Farm School will be spoilt rotten with a one-of-a-kind Christmas party on 28 November.

Ripple Reading and Vastratech will host their first Christmas celebration, where the underprivileged pupils at the school will be treated to a day of fun festivities.

Riana Robinson, spokesperson for Ripple Reading said, “It is going to be a fantastic Christmas party and we look forward to treating the kids on the day. There will be face paints and goodie packs with delicious treats for everyone.”

Robinson says, although they are giving something to the pupils, it is essential that they teach them about the gift of giving. “We will be doing a

back-to-school campaign when the academic year begins. So, we give the pupils a gift and they will also have to do something in return during the term,” she added.

Continuing with the spirit of giving, the organisation plans to make this an annual Christmas special for more well-deserving schools in the community.
