Zombie Walk thrill for charity

MELVILLE – Experience the undead horde on 31 October as they rise outside the gates of West Park Cemetery

Creepy costumes, ghosts, pirates, horror and all things scary are what is needed for this year’s Halloween.

The eighth annual Zombie Walk is fast creeping up, and the undead horde will rise outside the gates of West Park Cemetery on 31 October.

The 2.5km walk will start from the cemetery at 3pm to Melville – all in the name of raising funds for charity.

The supported charity is Marang House, which provides care and support for rural children who require hospital treatment and are in need of constant supervision and medical care.

Empire Tattoos manager Jacques Jacobs encourages individuals to participate in the walk for a worthy cause. “It will be a day of good fun, because it will be a Friday so we will go the extra mile to raise funds,” he said.

“A Zombie is a scary looking creature so we want the whole experience to be as messy as possible.”

There will also be live bands performing on the day.
