Move over Bill Gates, 12-year-old Mark Botros is the next computer genius.

Mark Botros is one 12 year old with plenty of talent and is impressing college lectures with his natural IT knowledge.

Mark Botros (12) impressed Boston lecturers when he received a CompTIA A+ certificate from the IT community.

The achievement is an internationally recognised post-school qualification in the computer industry. The Maragon pupil received his first achievement when he was 9 years old when he obtained the e-learner computer golden certificate and the accolades did not stop there. When he was 10, he impressed his teachers and parents by becoming the youngest person in the world to receive the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL).

Mary Botros, Mark’s mother, says he started showing an interest in IT when he was just 4 years old when his father bought him a Spiderman computer game. “At first he could not figure out how it worked but he was very persistent and eventually he figured it out. His knowledge on computers is well above his age and he dreams of being the next Bill Gates. We are so proud of our son, he has worked very hard to achieve everything he has without letting his grades fall behind.”

Mark’s dreams of being the next computer genius are not far off – he passed his first exam at Boston College with an impressive 81per cent and amazed everyone when he scored 92 per cent in his second exam.

According to Mary Botros, her son wants to study at a world-renowned university such as Harvard or Oxford University but for now, he will continue his new course Computer networking at Boston.
