King David School big walk

VICTORY PARK- King David Schools put on a fantastic, fun, family day with a 5km walk on 24 August.

It was a fun day for King David Schools in Johannesburg on 24 August.

The event took place at King David Victory Park, Road Number 3, with the walk continuing through the streets of Victory Park and then into Delta Park. It was a fun, leisurely walk with water points along the route. The walk took about one hour to complete. There was music, a market, entertainment, food and drinks for sale on the King David Victory Park Primary School Field after the walk.

Every adult over 18 years old earned up to 3 000 Discovery Vitality points for walking.

Each entrant received a King David draw-string bag, a King David Big Walk water bottle, a wrist band and a R100 NetFlorist voucher. The route itself was well manned with traffic officers and marshals. There were also medical facilities available should the need arise.
