POWER OUTAGE: Roosevelt substation out of order

ROOSEVELT – Suburbs around the Roosevelt substation are without power due to a fault.

City Power is currently experiencing a power line fault at the Roosevelt substation which has caused power interruptions.

Affected areas include; Roosevelt Park, Montgomery Park , Fairland, Northcliffe, Blackheath, Berario, Residale, Albertsville, Greymont, Emmarentia, Linden and Victory Park.

City Power spokesman Sol Masolo said, “Our technical operators are currently working on the substation. City Power believes we will be able to restore electricity to the affected areas soon. We will continue updating residents about this power interruption as and when the new updates become available.”
