The end may be in sight for Westdene’s electricity problems.
City Power has escalated installing new ABC cables in the streets of this power-less suburb. City Power workers were spotted installing new cables in the suburb on 5 August.
ABC cables (Aerial Bundled Cables) are more durable, very difficult to steal and are almost immune to surges. Outages and cable theft should at least be minimised with the installation of these cables.
