Brixton residents baked a treat of cupcakes to show some appreciation to the Brixton police on 14 February.
The men and women in blue received their fair share of love from the community, including some students on the befitting Valentine’s Day.
The cop cakes, as they were dubbed, were organised by the Brixton Community Forum that also hosts a series of events to create a sense of community.
“The next events are a Welcome Back Movie Night for students on the evening of 22 February at the Brixton Recreation Centre and the monthly Community Day in Kingston Frost Park on the morning of 22 February,” the forum’s Ann Simmonds stated.
