Accolades for DA’s Lindiwe Mazibuko

MELVILLE - Author of Lindiwe Mazibuko's biography Donwald Pressly and DA candidate for Gauteng premier Mmusi Maimane endorse her presidential potential.

The DA’s Lindiwe Mazibuko has put education and economic growth at the forefront of her mission if she were president.

Speaking at the launch of her biography Owning the Future: Lindiwe Mazibuko and the changing face of the DA by Donwald Pressly, Mazibuko shed some light on why South Africans should invest in her potential.

“If I were President the first thing I would do is address a twin problem in the supply and the demand side of the economy. I would engender faith in South Africa ink by prioritising projects that make South Africa run efficiently,” Mazibuko said in reply to a member of the audience’s question.

Among those projects, Mazibuko mentioned water, potholes and electricity which seem to be a great concern in the country at the moment.

She vowed to introduce a turn-around strategy for both lower and higher education.

Pressly had his fair share of accolades directed at Mazibuko and her achievements thus fair, which prompted him to jot down her journey.

“I could see that Lindiwe was going places and no one was writing about it, so I broke the story” Pressly revealed.

“I do believe that she has many of the ingredients to make a great leader and possibly a president of our country one day. It’s early days but I think she’s certainly a rising star,” Pressly said.

Discussion leader and DA candidate for Gauteng Premier Mmusi Maimane also had a bunch of roses to say about the Julius-Malema-dubbed tea girl.

“I’ve watched you fight some tough battles and I certainly have admired the way you handled that particular aspect of your journey,” expressed Maimane.

The strength of having people like Lindiwe in the role that they are means that they have the best potential of attracting more Lindiwes. Many South Africans from all walks of life feel confident to feel (sic) they believe in this country and they can still believe in the DA so that is a great tribute to you,” he concluded.
