Have you renewed your postbox yet? The South African Post Office reminds their customers to renew their boxes before the end of January 2014. The annual fee is R339.

“If you feel uncomfortable giving out your home address, a post office box is the solution for you,” says Mike Olien, head of the box division at the SA Post Office.

“You can have your mail delivered to a private box at your local post office where you can collect your mail at a suitable time.”

Some of the benefits of renting a postbox include:

• Security of mail. Only you and/ or the people authorised by you will have access to your postbox.
• Permanent Mailing Address. A postbox is great for people who move regularly. As it reduces the frequency of changing your mailing address every time you move.
• Affordable Prices. The annual rate for a postbox is only 93c per day.

Make sure to renew your postbox before the end of the month to avoid the suspension of service. Renewals can be done at any post office branch nationally or online at www.virtualpostoffice.co.za
