Attempted robbery at Pick n Pay
BRIXTON- Pick n Pay becomes victim of criminals.

Armed gunmen failed in an attempted robbery at the Pick n Pay in Brixton at around 8 am on 1 November.
According to Lieutenant Colonel B. S. Ngobeni from Brixton SAPS, the robbers ambushed the business as store workers were opening for the day. Six men went into the shop while an unknown number acted as lookouts on the outside.
They criminals made their getaway with nothing as there was no cash at the location, but not before physically assaulting two security guards.
“Pick n Pay is very involved with the community members”, said one disappointed Brixton resident, “they help out a lot and have even donated cakes for our children to celebrate their birthdays. This is very unfortunate.”
Police appeal to witness to come forward with any useful information.
