A woman found her long lost purse with everything inside it.
Marilyn Peffer was at the Westdene Pep stores on 14 June when she lost her purse which had R60 and an unused airtime voucher inside it. Peffer reported the matter to the store manager thinking that someone had stolen it inside the store.
“I was so shocked to discover that the store manager had found my purse when I visited the store a month later. I don’t know how to thank her enough, this is a miracle, people like her are rare.”
Zelda van der Merwe the store manager said one of her employees Mapule Dichoncho found the purse and gave it to her. Van der Merwe kept in the safe hoping the owner would come back to check if anyone had found it. “When we couldn’t find it, the lady was so angry and said she would never come back to the store again and my employees tried very hard to find it.”
Peffer thanked every employee in the store and told them that they are remarkable.
