Celebrity pet grooming

Etv's Scandal actor Clint Brink and his dog participated in the Baby Soft toilet tissue pet grooming campaign.

Since the tissue brand is associated with a Labrador puppy, they decided to select celebrity pets and pamper them for a day.

Wesdene resident Brink was lucky as his dog, Siam, was one of the selected pets and was pampered at the actor’s manager’s home in Emmarentia.

Dandy Dogs dog groomers gave her a full body groom. Lucky Mphuti of Dandy Dogs said the grooming process included a body wash, a blow dry, a full shave and a full body brush. Mphuti said pampering pets is important because it benefits their health. “This makes them feel special like humans do after a full body massage at a spa,” he said.

Brink said he always takes care of his dog – despite his busy schedule – by playing with her and going for long walks, although he admitted he didn’t wash her as much as he walked her. “It is healthy for dogs to be washed once a month as it damages their coating when done more often,” he added.

After the pampering, Baby Soft’s representative Obren Motswane handed over a hamper filled with picture frames, toilet roll tissues and pet accessories.
