Pieter-Dirk Uys is certainly not past his sell-by date

Some of his most beloved characters make an appearance in a topical performance that makes the audience laugh uncontrollably while simultaneously giving commentary on local politics.

Pieter-Dirk Uys is currently performing his latest show, Sell-By Date.

He lived in Melville during his years in the city and always finds a way to reconnect with the area when he is in town for a show. Before this performance, he helped draw crowds at the Melville Koppies AGM.

In Fourways later that day, audiences are treated to glimpses of some of his most loved and controversial characters who take you through his incredible life as an actor.

It is a laugh-a-minute piece of satire worth making time to see Uys at his best. He transforms into characters with aplomb with minimal props and a stark stage meaning he has nothing to hide behind except his exceptional acting to ensure audiences leave glad they came.
