MULTIMEDIA: Jura not just a race but an adventure

EMMARENTIA – Hollard Jura sees thousands of runners make their way through the City.

The Hollard Jozi Urban Run Adventure (Jura) smashed all expectations for adventure junkies.

The whole new experience combined the best parts of trail running and obstacle races on 28 May. Runners from around Johannesburg experienced hidden parts of the City of Joburg including storm water drains, hay bales, 120m floating bridges and so much more.

Hollard general manager for sponsorships, Warwick Bloom, said, “The run was great, we learned a lot and made crucial changes to the route.”

Bloom added, “It is an obstacle race like no other, it’s really about testing yourself and the spirit of camaraderie.”
