I do, I do, oh I do

NORTH RIDING – The Wedding Expo 2016 showed brides the latest wedding trends.

Shiny engagement rings were everywhere as future brides, some with their mothers and some with their fiancés attended the Wedding Expo on 12 and 13 March at the Ticketpro Dome in North Riding.

The expo catered to every need that a bride may have, no matter how close or far the big day might be. The Ticketpro Dome was packed with brides planning their wedding and the many stalls were eager to assist them in any way they could.

Stalls with many styles of wedding dresses for winter and summer, showed some of their available dresses. White fondant wedding cakes for the traditional bride as well as modern chocolate cakes got people’s taste buds going. Wedding stationary, printed bridesmaid shirts, headbands, venues, flowers and catering excited many brides. The groom however, was not left out with many honeymoon and wedding attire options.

It was a busy day for every vendor who attended the event as many business cards were no longer available after the first few hours. Apart from the stalls that showed their products, there was also a fashion theatre set-up. Many designers had the chance to show off their wedding dresses as well as bridesmaids dresses. Craig Urbani, actor and singer hosted the Make Me a Bride makeover where he chose a lucky bride to be to have a full bridal makeover.

The expo catered for many tastes, cultures and budgets and guaranteed brides went away with many more ideas for their big day.
