EMMARENTIA – Natalie Chapman concludes her 90-day music tour at a final performance at Marks Park Sports Club.

South African singer, songwriter, and LeadSA hero, Natalie Chapman staged her final performance for her #90Days music tour at the Marks Park Sports Club on 27 April.

The tour saw Chapman complete 180 performances in 90 towns for 90 days. Chapman reached thousands of people and traveled thousands of kilometers with her message of hope through music, giving a voice to survivors of violent and sexual crimes.

Chapman was overcome with emotion and pride, to be part of a team that has managed to complete this unique music tour so effectively “It’s been a very challenging experience, but I’m glad we did it,” she said.

Chapman said that the tour revealed a great deal about the state of social issues in South African communities, “The biggest thing I discovered during this tour was how right I was in how communities in South Africa are in denial of identifying and dealing with social issues. A lot of good people out there are damaged and they are need of better treatment from the community. True healing can only come from each other.

Chapman was joined by a host of local musicians featuring Janie Day, Shotgun Tori and the Hound, Andra, Raoul and Black Friday, and Roan.

Performer Andra was humbled to be part of Chapman’s final concert. “It is a tremendous honour for me to be part of all this. I have so much respect for what Natalie has set out to do, in making a difference in people’s lives through her music,” she said.
