GALLERY: Winner’s Bloom tour is off to a good start

FAIRLAND – Dana Winner's Bloom Tour off to a good start as fans fill the Mosaïek Teatro.

The stage was set and ready for an exclusive Dana Winner show on 28 March at the Mosaïek Teatro.

Fans started gathering at the Mosaïek an hour and a half before the show started just to ensure they don’t miss any part of the performance.

Winner released her first single in 1990 called On the roof of the world and it was a cover of Top of the World that was released by The Carpenters in 1973 – it was also one of the songs she performed during her Bloom Tour.

The Belgium singer said her new Bloom album and her exclusive Bloom Concert Tour is extremely special for her because every song on her album means something to her and her audiences will be able to connect to the new album.

“South Africa has always been special for me and that it the reason why I come back to often to perform, the people are unique, the country is unlike any other with its beautiful mountains and scenery,” said Winner during the show.

South African music promoter Lydia Winchester explained that Winner’s angelic voice, her stunning personality is what draws crowds to her shows.

Winner thanked the crowd for supporting her first Bloom Concert Tour show in Johannesburg and mentioned that she will be heading off next to Secunda, Bloemfontein and the Karoo for her next couple of shows in her tour of South Africa.
