The Grade 7 learners of Northcliff Primary School held their annual Entrepreneurs Day in late August. The day was a roaring success with the Grade 7s raising money for their farewell gift to the school.
Northcliff Primary School’s Suzy Beaumont said, “The learners split up on to groups of approximately six and had to present a business plan to the EMS (economic management systems) educator, Ms Dlamini. Some learners managed to source donations of burgers from RocoMamas in Cresta Crossing and Wild Falcon Spur in Heathway Spur.”
The learners had different stalls and sold candy floss, doughnuts, mocktails, lucky packets, popcorn, burgers, boerewors rolls, wraps and orbs. There were also activities such as a sour-sweet challenge, soccer challenge, raffles, a disco and jumping castles to keep the learners occupied during the day. All the learners had a day filled with fun and loads to eat.
