How vast is your lexicon?

Members of Rosepark Scrabble Club would appreciate nothing more than to have new members come and play with them.

Meet the Rosepark Scrabble Club, its members can be found putting nifty words together at the Roosevelt Park Recreational Centre, where they have been for more than 20 years.

Described as a word game played with friends by member Ann Biccard, the local club would appreciate nothing more than to have others in the community form part of the club which currently has 12 active members and is more than eager to add more.

Biccard said some people may think it is a difficult game or feel they can’t spell. To this, she explains there is little fear as there are special scrabble dictionaries one can use. For her, one of the many perks to playing this game is the opportunity to meet people all while playing a game that is not only fun but one that stimulates the mind too.
