It takes a village to raise a child
Vumile and his friends help school learners with career choices and applying for them in schools.
My name is Vumile General Nguleka. I am 20 years old and doing my second year at UJ studying law.
I started a non-profit organisation called N Chuma Foundation with my friends to give back to the community, especially the youth. My friends are Fezile Thusini and Lethinhlanhla Zikhali.
We help the community by providing Grade 12 learners in underdeveloped schools in rural areas to apply for university and with their career choices. During the registration period, we register for them.
We also want to ensure that the youth don’t end up doing drugs if they don’t qualify for university. So we want to help them with other skills such as soccer, handwork and art.
