International Holocaust Day Commemorated in Victory Park

King David Victory Park held a special assembly that recognised the anniversary of the Auschwitz Death Camp liberation.

King David High School Victory Park recently commemorated International Holocaust Day during assembly.

The commemoration, which was held on January 27, recognised the anniversary of the Auschwitz Death Camp liberation. This date is said to be recognised by the UN as the day of remembering all victims who were killed during the Holocaust.

The school’s Nirvana Rogers said the Judaica committee together with the executive of the SRC prepared a moving assembly to state ‘We Remember’.

Gilana Rubinstein, Gregory Landau, Levi Parsons, Hannah Evan, Gad Matisonn, Jordan Moyal, Liyat Chipkin, Mira Lipman.

Along with this the documentary film, I am Here which documented the life and memories of Ella Blumenthal, a holocaust survivor, was also introduced at the assembly.
