Help Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi make a difference

The Linden-based charity shop shares its wish list with the community.

Why not start off the new year by giving to your local non-profit.

Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi shares its wish list with the paper in hopes that some in the community can come to their aid. The Linden-based charity shop, which is one of four spread across the country, supports various early childhood development programmes in communities, such as The Cradle of Hope and Dayspring Children’s Village.

Karen Harvey, manager of the charity said the non-profit would love more support from the community as they sell excellent quality preloved clothing. All proceeds go to early development programmes which makes a difference in the lives of children and education.

Here is their wish list:

  • Donations of good quality, in good condition, ladies clothing, jewellery, shoes and handbags.
  • They rely on donations to do what we do.
  • You will be making a huge difference in the lives of those less fortunate in education.
  • Stationery and books to write in, which can be donated to their projects for the start of their 2023 year.
  • Any text books for early childhood development from Grades RRR and upwards.

Donations can be dropped off at the store, 59 4th Avenue, Linden Place.

They are open weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.

They will be closed from December 23 until January 9, 2023.
