Their focus for this Holy Cross week was on being people of hope, who walk in faith and hope and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, as from death comes new life.

As a reminder that the school community are all people of hope who live by the motto In Cruce Salus (In the Cross is Salvation), a plain cross was displayed on school grounds and learners were invited to place their troubles at the foot of the cross.

As the week progressed, the cross was transformed into a symbol of hope. It was decorated with symbols of new life and hope to remind each one that they are called to be a transformative presence in the community.
