A day of fun and food

Friends and family are blown away by Reddford House’s picnic day.

Reddford House Northcliff was happy to invite their learners and staff, along with their friends and families to their Sunset Picnic 2022 on January 21. The annual and traditionally picnic is hosted to bring the school family together to connect over a good movie, great food and even better company.

Reddford House Northcliff Head of Campus Leandri Fick said, “The event was a tremendous success, with the majority of our Reddford House Northcliff parents bringing their picnic baskets, blankets and families and sharing in this outside experience with us.”

The highlight of the day was the ability to bring the school’s learners, families and friends to share food, laughs and a good movie. The day was also made special thanks to NxtGen and Western Warriors who made sure fun was being had by all in attendance. Fick stated, “NxtGen and their mascots entertained the little ones, hosted kick-out and hoop throwing competitions. Western Warriors Cricket Club played six-a-side cricket with everyone and some of our boys (and girls) faced some good shots in the cricket nets. We are again reminded of the importance of family, both at home and the ‘family’ we have at school as we shared laughter and the company of those we love and care for.”

This year’s event was the first one hosted since the Covid-19 pandemic but was regarded as an absolute feast. Fick concluded, “We aim to host the sunset picnic in the second week of every term, and every time to bring something new and fresh to table for our Reddford House Northcliff family to experience.”
