A night of Brixton lights
BRIXTON – An evening of lights, arts and crafts and community fun awaits residents.
Annual light festival to be hosted on December 4.
The Brixton Community Forum and Shade are excited to announce that the most-anticipated event on the calendar is almost here. On December 4 they will host the Brixton Light Festival in partnership with various volunteers from the community to bring it all together.
The festival is a community-based event for Brixtonites which involves a craft market, music and entertainment and of course a colourful light display that will mesmerize all in attendance.
In previous years the highlight of the festival was a colourful light parade featuring a dancing dragon and there are plans to ensure that this year is just as amazing. The festival is designed for Brixton residents, and as there is no parking, those attending will only be able to walk or get an e-hailing taxi ride to the start point which will be the only way in.
