Probably the cutest and most heart-melting fun walk ever hosted. In February, before Covid-19, dotsure.co.za invited dog lovers across the city to their first-ever Night Walkies. Imagine seeing a sea of pups in lit-up collars and wagging tails walking a route of 3km through the leafy suburbs of Emmarentia and Greenside while completing fun obstacles assembled for the dogs.
The Grade 10s of Malboro Gardens toured the nature reserve and Johannesburg City Heritage Site known as the Melville Koppies. The tour was part of the school’s life science, tourism, business studies and history classes. This image was captured using a drone during the lockdown while following up on the new speed hump installed at the request of Jozi Trails. According to Jozi Trials managing director, the basis of the application for the crossing was the safety of those on foot and riding bikes.
