The first of their celebrations was a Spring Reading Challenge on ‘Read a Book Day’, which was celebrated on 6 September. In this challenge, children were asked to read a book outdoors, while enjoying nature and some fresh air.
“De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School is fortunate to have a magnificent library, with two dedicated librarians who work exceptionally hard at encouraging reading and the enjoyment of all genres”, said Jane Peall, head of English.
