Multiple people left injured after minibus taxi crashes into a wall

NORTHCLIFF – ER24 assessed and treated multiple patients with minor to moderate injuries after the minibus crashed into a wall on Beyers Naudé Drive in Northcliff.


Thirteen people have sustained minor to moderate injuries after a minibus taxi crashed into a wall on Beyers Naudé Drive in Northcliff early on 3 September. 

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said their paramedics along with other services, ‘arrived on the scene at 8.10am to find that the taxi had come to a stop against the business wall. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were now seated on the pavement.’

The medics assessed and treated the patients treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

It’s unclear how the incident occurred, authorities were on-scene for further investigations.
