Hard work and dedication pay off

BRIXTON – Police station management has thanked one of their own as his passion takes him to new heights, with a new job title of sector manager at the Brixton Police Station.

Constable Bradley James Titus was appointed as a sector manager for Sector 1 at the Brixton Police Station.

Spokesperson Jeanette Backhoff said Titus is one of the members at the station who is always willing to go the extra mile for the community that he serves and protects. She said he is an asset to the station.

The constable is involved in crime prevention projects and works closely with the Community Policing Forum in the Brixton area, community patrollers and security companies.

Since his appointment, he has put some crime prevention measures in place around the Melville area. “We are happy to report that motor vehicle-related crimes such as the theft of, and the theft from motor vehicles have reduced drastically,” said Backhoff.

Titus supports and assists other sector managers in their areas whenever the need arises.

Backhoff concluded by saying, “We take our hat off to this constable who is always energetic and very positive towards life and towards his work. Management would like to thank him for the role he has played in the fight against crime. He is an inspiration for all other constables and members at the station.”
