Abbotts College learners donate their shoes to those in need

NORTHCLIFF – This is why children were barefoot on a school day.

Learners at Abbotts College donate and go shoeless for those less privileged than them.

While many are waiting for their last matric exam to donate their shoes to those less fortunate, Abbotts College decided to have a shoe drive and give out shoes to those walking past the school. Abbotts College hosted their second annual shoe drive and giveaway on 23 October.

Here are videos where the learners explain why and how they planned this heartfelt initiative:

Abbotts College in Northcliff hosted their second annual shoe drive and giveaway. Learners and staff of the college collected over 150 pairs of shoes.

Once the learners at Abbotts College donated their shoes they spent the rest of the day barefoot. They said this would enable them to walk a mile in the shoes of those less fortunate.
